Late Night Post - January Wish List

In need of a break from college work / portfolio / personal statement but still wide awake, I thought I'd do a lil post on 'ere!

I presume that 99% of you will agree that January is ALWAYS tight when it comes to money. Christmas has eaten away the content of my purse and not to mention the crazy night on NYE, gobbling up every last penny that was left. So now I'm skint as faaaaaaaack and even petrol is becoming a struggle to afford.

Despite my money situation plummeting to the ground, I still have a mental list of everything I've seen / love / want, just like every month. This month I'll just have to write it all down because I know that it's going to be a v   e    r    y  long time until I can actually finally afford bits and bobs besides petrol, food and the odd cheap night out.

Here's the list of things I can remember I've seen either online, in stores or on Instagram with price/ brand etc etc next to each one (you know the drill) ......Just a warning though, I won't be happy if I see any of you with these things in the next month, so keep it on a down low if you decide to get anything. Cheerz guyz

Glitter Gel from Snazeroo.co.uk £3.25 plus shipping - I've seen a few pictures on Insta of girls with cute hair do's and this gel across their scalp. Looks pretty cool, so I'd like to give it a go. For 3 quid a pot what's the harm in trying!? May look shit, may look fantastic, only one way to find out.

Calvin Klein matching panties & bralette - £28 for bra,  £18 for pants...Modelled by Kendal. I'm not a huge Kardashian fan but this pic of KJ is insane, so good that I want to try and look that good in the same underwear! Just need to loose a few pounds & plonk on the excessive tan. Finito.

Jumpsuit from Nasty Gal.com £104.10 (a precise price!) - L o v e the back to this jumpsuit and really into tailored pieces at the moment including this peg legged shaped trouser. The back of my arms / shoulder are a part of me that I dislike so I'd wear this with a white / baby pink or blue turtle neck in a thin jersey or light knit.

H&M ICE BLUE (picture has turned it grey for some reason) Funnel Collar Neoprene Top - No idea on price because it's completely sold out. Saw it a few weeks ago and even then it was sold out but I love it so much that I'm determined to find it somewhere. The collar is amaaazing.

Nikon EOS 100D - £470 ish from Currys, Jessops, etc. Was meant to get it for christmas but unfortunately mum was short of a few pounds so I've decided to pay half. Not sure when that's going to be though...A great camera that is perfect for the DSLR beginner (like me) or the intermediate level photographer, due to it's wide range of settings and lenses available. Lovin' the white too.

2nd Day Back

So yesterday was my second day back at UCA after the shortest 3 weeks off ever. The christmas holidays went by faaaaar to quickly - I had too much work to do, and I had WAY too much food and alcohol.

Each new year is always the same for me. I somehow have NO time to do any of my work, or if I do it's only a smidge of the total amount I have to complete. Yet looking back on the holidays I have done absolutely f all.
It's almost like watching tv and eating and sleeping (doing bugger all) during the christmas holidays is the priority over pretty much everything. But seriously, what happens!? I do not understand...

I'm going to stop moaning now and carry on with this post properly. I've mentioned previously that the current project I'm doing is titled 'floribunda',  and that I'm focusing on gardens and in particular the relationship between garden and gardener.
I'll probably write another post later on in the week about my sketchbook so far but here is a sneak preview, using a few designs I made today...

Below are also lots of vein pictures of myself which I took yesterday morning before uni with 10 minutes to spare. (Look under photos for item/brand/price etc)

Pink fur coat : Markets in Amsterdam €20
Baby blue Tshirt : Charity shop £2
White shirt : Charity shop £3.50
White joni high waisted jeans : Topshop £40(ish)
Air Max 2015 : Nike £90 (kids!)
Fjallraven Kanken backpack : Selfridges £65

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas & New Year, and I hope I'm not the only one who feels behind on their work despite having 3 weeks off !
... If you don't feel behind on work, please feel free to share your secret with me :)
