R O . 1 is a fashion & liftestyle blog and virtual diary, created by myself - Robyn Louise Orrett, a fashion engrossed, music & party loving, sarcastic, moderate swearer teen-turned-adult from Kent, in England.

I am currently studying a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design at UCA in Canterbury, where I will hopefully carry on to study Fashion Design as a degree in London. 

This blog is basically a little something to show everyone my journey of thoughts, interests and creations, from the beginning of my studies post A-level , up until my final year at Uni. And who knows - maybe I will carry on blogging if it gains enough interest! 

I can show you guys an incite into the fashion, art and music cultures I enjoy thinking about or being apart of, so you can build a picture in your mind of what I'm like and what I enjoy. 

I would describe my style as contemporary, clean and colourful. I have a strange obsession with pastel & metallic colours, sporty fabrics, and masculine shapes. My music tastes are pretty similar to my style (constantly differing) and lie within a concoction of different genres, however House, Garage and HipHop are certainly my favourites. 

Sometimes I may post random pictures of what I'm inspired by, as I feel it's important that you see everything and anything that influences my thoughts, which reflects through my style, my work and the posts I write. R O . 1 was quite an on the spot name, and also a pretty basic one. You can probably guess that the 'RO' part stands for my name, and the 1 was a little extra something that popped into my mind. I liked the idea that although spelt differently, R O . 1 can be associated with the 1st row of somewhere (and you can't get any better than the 1st row!).......Slightly cheesy but hey ho I think it's catchy hehe
