Start of Uni - LFW

So I've just about scraped through my first term of Uni. Still alive and well :) but I have effed up my finance, my body clock, and most of all my liver.....Ooops!

Although I reckon it will take another month or two to properly get into the swing of things here at uni (orrrr maybe not) - it feels necessary that from now on, some kind of effort is put in to maintaining of what I think is a healthyish diet and lifestyle. Hence why I have reappeared on the blogger-sphere, ready to talk about my work, clothes etc and all things Fash-un.

To kick things off, London Fashion Week. Obviously as fashion degree students, our tutors gave us a project to complete during our first two days of starting. Apparently the Fine Art kids have only just started a project, 4 weeks in! ! !
Anyway, silly of me to moan and expect any less, but our task was to find out, stalk and "be detectives for the day" (their words not mine) on anything to do with Soho and LFW. Any information we found out HAD to be recorded analogue style. So all drawing, all writing and all by hand. No photos. These recordings were then put onto mini mood boards and judged by out tutor. Winning work was placed on Andrew's 'super board' with a lovely little glass of Proseco as a prize.

Despite my raging hangover, my inner Fashion Week stalker proved me well. Lots of photos and drawings and a ticket for the Belgrade Fashion Week Show in Covent Garden, hosted by Fashion Scout.

Below are a few street style photo's I managed to take whilst having an explore outside the live showrooms......

I admire this man for wearing two pairs of glasses. It's a shame I didn't capture him with his eyes open!

This photo captures a range of expressions and also reveals to you the atmosphere of Fashion week outside of the closed doors. People are constantly walking around outside taking pictures of someone that catches their eye, usually having no idea who they are of what they are doing there.

I felt a big need to take a photo of this guy, again, no idea who he is or what he does but if you're wearing an incredible ASHISH studded denim jacket outside a show: prepare to have all eyes and cameras on you.

Elizabeth Bishop - Model at Elite wearing head to toe ASHISH

A proper cool dude and a strong example of how all elder men should be dressing

That bag tho..... <33333333

Despite having a very good seat inside the fashion show, unfortunately I left my camera flash at home and the pictures I took during the show were shocking... I think I still need a few more goes practising too.. So I've reposted a few photo's that I've found online as the show was too wonderful to keep a secret from you. All photo's are reposted from Theupcoming.com.

Belgrade Fashion Week is a national and international design collective that supports the growth of the best upcoming, independent fashion designers within Serbia. Merging both the commercial and artistic industries, BFW has had the ability to promote and create a network of talented people that may have not had the chance to form their own business alone.
Big ups to the 5 lucky and talented designers that had the chance to be apart of this seasons showcase. I'm excited to see what's in store next for you in the future :):)

....As this post is already quite long, I'll be writing a few more posts about my first term at Uni, chatting about what I got up to, workshops, projects, my work etc etc. So stay toooooned !
