Start of Uni Pt. 2 - Workshops

Thinking back on my classes this term - as interesting and beneficial they were to myself , I don't think I could explain in a way that's interesting and fun for y'aaaaall to read.

Luckily for you (and me), I managed to keep a mini photo diary of a few of my lessons which include sewing, pattern cutting and a tiny bit'a illustration...Unfortunately, towards the end of term I was a lil bit forgetful and missed some exciting photo opportunities during my classes as I kept leaving my camera at home. That will be the reason why the majority of the photos are of slightly basic techniques and none of them include final outcomes that we have drafted / made.

All photos above are what I took during a few of my pattern cutting lessons. As you can see everyone hard at work , tracing off pattern pieces and creating our own...Everyone hard at work except me...
The picture above is looking down on to the river that backs onto the university. Very chillllled in the sunshine!

These next photos were taken during our first week after our London Fashion Week task. They are a few close ups of the winning illustrations that made it onto Andrews 'super mood board'. As you can see my year is proper talented..competit-unnnnnnn!

And last but not least are a few snaps I took during our sewing class, featuring my lovely models. It looks as though we just sit around, doing nothing doesn't it. But reeeeally it would be level on impossible to take pictures and look like we are having fun when we are mid sew on the industrial machines...1000% chance of losing 1 or more fingers if you tried to multitask .A risk definitely not worth taking.

So here's a very mild summery of what I got up to over the first term, minus the stress and outrageous workload nearing the end. If you're a fresher like myself, let me know what you're first term has been like.
Peace n lovvvve x
